More castes added to the list of those suitable for 10% EWS quota

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today announced addition of more castes to the list of castes in Gujarat that don’t get benefits of reservation quota for OBC/SC/ST/SEBC.
13A, Rajput Garasya, Garasiya, Hindu Durbar (those not in SEBC,OBC)
42A Bhanushali, Bhanushali, Kutchi Bhanushanli, Sindhi Bhanushali, Halari Bhanushali
42B Kansara,
42C Modh Patel (those not in SEBC, OBC)
42D Khamar
42E Kandoi, Sukhadia (those not in SEB, OBC)
55A Malek (those not in SEBC, OBC)
66A Rangrej, Lilgar Muslims
66B Nagori Luhar (Muslim)
– In December 6, 2018 resolution of Government, there was a mention of Bavcha, Bamya caste in the list of those suitable to get benefits of EWS quota. It should be read as Bavcha, Bamcha, the government said in a note.
