Surat: A new luxury travel bus service will connect Surat and Bhavnagar via Ro-Pax ferry service and complete the distance between two places in five hours.

Making this announcement, DG Sea Connect’s Chetan Contractor today said, ‘passengers wanting to travel to Bhavnagar via Ro-pax ferry had some issues related to Surat – Dahej connectivity. In order to give a solution, franchisee Rahi Holidays and Sitaram Enterprise have in a joint venture started a bus service between Surat and Bhavnagar via Ro-pax ferry route.’

‘A bus will leave Hirabaug circle of Varachha area in Surat three hours prior to ferry service schedule. The bus will reach Dahej and board the Ro-pax vessel. It will leave the ship at Ghogha with passengers and reach Bhavnagar. Similarly, around 45 minutes prior to Ro-pax ferry schedule, the bus will leave Neelambaug Circle in Bhavnagar and reach Ghogha. The bus will be placed in Ro-Pax ferry. It will leave the ship at Dahej and travel to Surat,’ Contractor added.

He said if this service which has been started on experimental basis achieve success, further connectivity will be given to Rajula, Amreli, Palitana and Somnath in future.
