Bridge City Surat likely to get one more bridge on April 18th

Surat: Over 1 lakh commuters on National Highway 53, connecting Palsana to Hazira via Sachin, will get relief from traffic as the new bridge at the Budia-Gabheni junction is now ready and is expected to be inaugurated on April 18th. Union Jal Shakti Minister and Gujarat BJP Chief CR Patil will inaugurate this bridge, built by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as part of the black spot (death spot) rectification on this national highway. The bridge, which has been built at a cost of ₹40 crore, will ease travel and reduce congestion.
Furthermore, two more flyovers will be constructed on the same highway at Dream City–Bhimarad and Vesu–Abhava junctions. The Dream City–Bhimarad flyover will be 700 meters long and 200 meters wide, while the Vesu–Abhava flyover will also be 700 meters long. This project is an important step toward reducing road accidents and easing traffic congestion. — DeshGujarat
