Gujarat Govt. appoints four tribal leaders as Director of Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today announced appointments of four new directors in Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation (Gujarat Aadijati Vikas Nigam). They are Punamchand Baranda from Bhiloda, Jashubhai Rathwa from Chhota Udepur, Pareshbhai Vasava from Uchchal and Babubhai Chorya from Ahwa-Dang.
Baranda is retired IPS from Vakatimba village of Bhiloda taluka. He started his career as DySP in 1996 and later got promotion as IPS. He was district police chief of Chhota Udepur. He was BJP candidate in Bhiloda assembly seat in 2017.
Jashubhai Rathwa was Sarpanch of Vaseda village of Chhota Udepur taluka. He later became taluka panchayat member, taluka BJP chief, district BJP chief and BJP candidate for Chhota Udepur seat in 2017.
Paresh Vasava is from Chitpur village of Uchchal taluka. He has been MLA four four terms during 1998-2012. He heads Dhareshwar Mahadev Mandir trust, Babarghat milk producing federation, Mogran forest labour society, APMC Uchchal and also director of Ukai Sugar.
Baburam Chorya is Dang district sarpanch association chief, district panchayat member, has worked in BJP Dang district youth morcha. He heads Dang district panchayat since 2015.
