BJP announces Gujarat candidates for 15 more Lok Sabha seats; total 16 of 26 candidates declared, of them 14 repeated

New Delhi: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) today announced its 6th list of candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha general elections 2019. Party leader JP Nadda announced the names in media briefing at party’s national headquarters Kamalam in Delhi.
Candidates and constituencies:
Kutch – Vinod Chavda (sitting MP)
Sabarkatnaha – Dipsinh Rathod (sitting MP)
Ahmedabad West – Kirit Solanki (sitting MP)
Surendranagar – Mahendra Munjpara (New candidate)
Rajkot- Mohan Kundariya (sitting MP)
Jamnagar – Poonamben Madam (sitting MP)
Amreli – Naranbhai Kachhadia (sitting MP)
Bhavnagar – Mrs. Bharatiben Shiyal (sitting MP)
Kheda – Devusinh Chauhan (sitting MP)
Dahod – Jaswantsinh Bhabhor (Sitting MP and union Minister of State)
Vadodara – Ranjanben Bhatt (sitting MP)
Bharuch – Mansukhbhai Vasava (sitting MP)
Bardoli – Prabhubhai Vasava (sitting MP)
Navsari – CR Patil (sitting MP)
Valsad – KC Patel (sitting MP)
BJP had earlier declared party president Amit Shah as candidate for Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.
Gujarat has total 26 Lok Sabha seats.
So far candidates of 16 seats are declared.
Candidates for assembly by-polls
BJP today also declared candidates for three of total five assembly seats that are going to witness by-elections
Dhrangadhra – Purushottam Sabaria
Jamnagar Rural – Raghavjibhai Patel
Manavdar – Jawahar Chavda
Gujarat is going to witness general election for 26 Lok Sabha seats and by-polls for 5 vacant assembly seats on April 23. Main rival Congress party has so far declared 4 Lok Sabha candidates for Gujarat. Last date of filing nominations is 4th April.
