Jamnagar: PS Jadeja, the president of Congress governed Devbhumi Dwarka district panchayat today joined BJP in presence of state party chief Jitu Vaghani among others on the occasion of nomination procession function of sitting Lok Sabha MP and BJP candidate Poonam Madam. Directors of local APMC, taluka panchayat members and other also joined BJP. This is a major setback for rival Congress party that has not been able to declare its candidate on Jamnagar seat so far.With this development, Devbhumi Dwarka district panchayat is now BJP-ruled. In last few years, three major Congress leaders from Jamnagar district namely Hakubha Jadeja, Raghavji Patel and in latest Jamnagar Rural MLA have joined BJP.
