BJP will take action against MLA Madhu Srivastava – Om Mathur

Vadodara/Gandhinagar: Even as the the Election Commission was reportedly contemplating action against controversial BJP MLA from Vaghodia in Gujarat, Madhu Srivastava for his alleged unruly remarks during a meeting, the ruling party today said that it would also take some action against him for his conduct including his misbehaviour with a local journalist.

Lok Sabha Election In-charge of BJP in Gujarat Om Mathur today told newsmen that the party high command has taken serious note of his conduct and would take action against him.

On being asked as to what action would be taken against him, Mathur only said that leave it for the party leaders to decide.
He said that his conduct against the media person was not fair.

Notably, Srivastava who often remains in limelight for his controversial statements had recently during a meeting allegedly threatened migrants living on illegal encroachments in his constituency to vote for BJP or else he would ‘fix’ them.

A complaint about this on-camera threat was lodged before the collector cum returning officer in Vadodara. Later when a reporter of a Gujarat TV channel went to meet him he again misbehaved with him and even threatened him.
