Vadodara: One person died while five others injured when lightening struck them in Fatehgunj area in Vadodara city of Gujarat.

Police said that Naval J Parmar (35) and five other members of his family were standing beneath a tree near EME circle in the city in the afternoon during rain.

Suddenly lightening struck the tree making them injured. All of them were taken to Sayaji Hospital here where Naval succumbed while five others were under treatment.

All of them were natives of neighbouring Madhya Pradesh and were working as labourers on a nearby construction site.
