With further advancement Monsoon has covered whole of Gujarat now, rain continue to lash parts of South Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Now that the South West Monsoon with further advancement in last 24 hours has now covered all of Gujarat, Rain is lashing parts of the state, especially the southern districts today even as in the last 24 hours ending 6 am today 121 talukas of 24 districts had seen rain with highest 111 mm in Quant taluka of Chhota Udepur district.
The total rain percentage of Gujarat has crossed 18% mark.
Met has not issued any heavy rain warning as of now and predicted continuing spells of light to moderate rains today and in the four coming days after that.
Today in first four hours since 6 am to 10 am, 74 talukas of 15 district have witnessed rain with Umerpada in Surat district seeing the highest of 148 mm. Among other prominent rain receiving talukas today are Vyara in Tapi district 81 mm, Surat city 57mm, Kamrej in Surat 50, Bardoli in Surat 46.
While a total of 31 talukas had seen one inch or more rain in the last 24 hours in the first four hours today 13 talukas have witnessed one inch or more of rain.
In the last 24 hours Meghraj in Aravalli had seen 96mm, Bodeli in Chhota Udepur 95, Malpur in Aravalli 91 mm and Halol in Panchmahal 84 mm.
