PM Narendra Modi arrives on two-day visit to Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi arrived here on two-day visit to Gujarat today.
Shri Modi arrived late in the evening at Sardar Patel international airport in Ahmedabad and left for a night halt at Raj Bhavan in capital Gandhinagar.
On Tuesday, on his birthday, son of soil Narendrabhai will visit his younger brother Pankaj Modi’s place to meet mother Hiraba. Shri Modi will take blessings of Hiraba and later fly to Kevadia colony in Narmada district of Central Gujarat where Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam and world’s tallest statue featuring Sardar Patel are located.
Shri Modi will visit Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam site and worship the water to mark full reservoir level of 138.68 meter in Narmada dam for the first time ever.
He will also visit various ongoing projects of tourist attractions by State forest department and Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited (SSNNL) which inclde jungle safari, eco tourism, cactus garden, ekta nursery, western India’s first river rafting point, nutrition park, mirror maze and others.
PM is likely to visit Garudeshwar Weir and Dutt mandir.
The Prime Minister will later address a public meeting which shall mainly have presence of a few thousand people from Narmada, Chhota Udepur and Bharuch districts.
