Ahmedabad MP asks questions in Lok Sabha in mother tongue Gujarati

New Delhi: Ahmedabad MP Hasmukh Patel, the first time member of Lok Sabha today exercised his right to ask questions in mother tongue Gujarati language in Lok Sabha. Gujarati is otherwise heard very rarely in parliament. Patel asked Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal whether the syllabus of school can be chosen by the States. He also asked supplementary question, that too in Gujarati.
