Gandhinagar: A delegation of central govt officials led by Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh today visited iCreate incubation centre near Ahmedabad. Later in a meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, MoS Singh who is also Department of North East Reagion minister discussed promotion of Madhavpur fair which marks Krishna – Rukmani Vivah. Madhavpur fair is organized in Madhavpur village of coastal Ghed region of Saurashtra. Rukmani according to traditional belief was from North East region. Madhavpur fair last year was organized as confluence of North East and West region of India. A troup of North East folk artists had participated in Madhavpur fair.
