All-rounder Irfan Pathan retires from all forms of cricket

Mumbai:India all-rounder cricketer Irfan Pathan on Saturday announced retirement from all forms of international cricket.
Irfan last played for India during the World T20 in 2012, but was seen playing in the domestic circuit.
The 35-year-old’s retirement was on expected lines, considering he last played a competitive game in February 2019 during the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy for Jammu & Kashmir.
He did not even put himself in the IPL auction pool, last month.
Irfan’s memories especially the amazing spell of T20 World Cup 2007 where India became champions and he was adjudged the man of the match and also the sensational hat-trick against Pakistan in Test Match of 2006 are the moments to be remembered.
