Naxals in remote areas cleaned-up but urban or white-collar naxalites in universities, media etc still active: Ram Madhav in Gujarat
January 11, 2020
Vadodara: Senior BJP leader and national general secretary of the ruling party Ram Madhav today said that cleaning up of naxalites in remote areas has been done successfully during the current regime but the ‘urban or white-collared’ naxals were still active.
Addressing an event here Ram Madhav said that the BJP regime has successfully tackled the menace of naxalism in the remote areas of the country including rural pockets but the urban or white-collared naxals, many of whom were in universities and even in media were trying to spread their ideology.
Later talking to newsmen he alleged that the January 5 violence in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was a left-wing conspiracy and the act of some terrorist Leftist students, who were affecting and hampering studies and research of thousands of students there for decades.
To a query about Kashmir he said that the internet would be restored there soon and the around 20 to 25 odd leaders under detention would also be released in phased manner. He also said that an overwhelming majority of 90 percent people in the country were supporting the decisions of Modi government like CAA, scrapping of article 370 etc. He claimed that those who were unable to face Modi politically were trying to do so with the help of terror elements and lies.
