Waaree Power to set up Rs. 1100 crore Solar cell and module plant in Valsad district; MoU signed with Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: Hitesh Doshi led Waaaree Power will set up solar cell and solar module plant at Manda village of Valsad district in South Gujarat. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this connection was signed today in Gandhinagar in presence of Chief Minister Rupani.
According to a note issued by State government, the plant will be set up with estimated investment of Rs. 1100 crore. The note further said that Waaree group is doing business in 60 countries. It manufactures 55% of all pressure gauges used in India. The group has India’s largest 2 GW capacity solar PV module manufacturing plant in Surat and Umargam in Suth Gujarat.
Group Chairman Hitesh Doshi thanked Chief Minister for facilitating quick land allocation and clearances without any delay.
