ACB nabs Deputy Mamlatdar and his middleman advocate taking bribe from decoy in Gujarat

Junagadh: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed a deputy Mamlatdar rank official and an advocate, who acted as his broker, in Vanthali town of Junagadh district for taking bribe.
Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama today said that based on a tip off that the officials and employees of the Mamlatdar office in Vanthali were taking bribe, through middlemen for handing over copies of various official documents.
The ACB today laid a trap through a decoy and caught Deputy Mamlatdar N J Kalavadiya (48) and his middleman advocate M B Sharma (40) for taking a bribe of Rs 5000.
