Rs. 7.25 lakh fine collected in a day for spitting in public: Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: Rs. 7,25,870 ( Rs. 7.25 lakh ) fine was collected in one day across Gujarat for spitting in public, said the government today. As per the decision taken by the State government two days ago, spitting in public attracts Rs. 500 fine. Receipts of fine collected in Rajkot city are viral on social platforms.
