Maninagar becomes latest ward to be declared as Containment Zone by AMC

Ahmedabad: City’s Maninagar ward has been added to the list of containment zones, City Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra announced in his online briefing today.
Containment zones are the areas that are marked as red zones due to higher number of Covid19 cases.
With this total 10 wards are marked as containment zones or red zones. They are: Maninagar, Jamalpur, Khadia, Dariyapur, Shahpur, Aswarwa, Baherampura, Danilimda, Saraspur and Gomtipur.
Nehra said, 10 Head of the Department (HoD) level officers of AMC are appointed to look after each of 10 containment zone wards.
