Statues wearing mask in this central Gujarat town to create awareness

Chhota Udepur: Statues of national icons in this district headquarters town in Central Gujarat are wearing mask.
Municipality president Neha Jayswal started this initiative in order to spread the message of importance of wearing mask amid Coronavirus spread.
Masks were tied to statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Dr. Ambedkar.
The town has made it compulsory to wear mask when out of home. Civic body has collected fine of Rs. 72,000 for violation of mask related rule so far.
