MS Patel appointed Executive Director for Surat Metro Rail Project

Gandhinagar: Retired IAS officer MS Patel who retired from Urban Development department of Gujarat government last 30th June, has been appointed as Executive Director in Surat Metro Rail Project. Patel had been on the posts such as district collector of Surat and Kutch and deputy municipal commissioner of Amdavad Municipal Corporation.
It’s worth noting that recently the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has invited bids for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase1- construction of 11.6 km elevated viaduct from Kadarsha Ni Nal to Dream City Dead End that includes ramp for depot entry near Dream City and 10 stations (excluding E&M architectural finishing and roofing)/
