Gandhinagar: Auto rickshaw drivers in Gujarat will have to sport blue aprons over their cloths when on driving seat of rickshaw mandatory as per the state transport department notification today. The notification doesn’t specify the date of implementation of this order.

However, Ahmedabad based Jagrut Autorickshaw Drivers Association has decided to move State High Court demanding apron rule compulsory also for cab, tempo, chhakdo drivers etc and not only for rickshaw drivers.
