Sikhs, Hindus return from Afghanistan, thank Modi Govt for facilitating their return

New Delhi: First group of 11 members of Sikh and Hindu minority community of Afghanistan,including Mr.Nidan Singh Sachdeva who was recently released from captivity, reached Delhi on Sunday. Government of India is facilitating return of Hindu and Sikh community members seeking permanent residency and citizenship in India. Speaking to media persons on his arrival, Nidan Singh said he was abducted and tied with a tree. He was repeatedly pressurized by abductor (Islamic fundamentalist) that he should convert to Islam. Nidan Singh said he refused to get converted. Sikhs among the group thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for facilitating their return.
