Hakubha denies nexus with wanted mafia Jayesh alias Jaysukh; Nathwani posts indicative tweet; another Audio of mafia Jayesh comes to light
September 26, 2020
Gandhinagar: Minister of State in Rupani cabinet, Dharmendrasinh Jadeja (Hakubha) today called a press conference in Jamnagar circuit house and refuted allegations of having nexus with wanted mafia Jayesh Patel alias Jaysukh Ranpariya. Hakubha said he had called this press conference as his name had appeared in media as a politician having nexus with Jayesh Patel (Jaysukh Ranpariya). The minister said, he had called a press conference after permission from State Chief Minister and State BJP chief. The minister asked to produce evidences that could prove his nexus with land grabbing, extortionist and murder accused Jayesh Patel alias Jaysukh Ranpariya. Hakubha said he was being targeted unfairly for political reasons.
It’s worth noting that Hakubha’s name was mentioned as someone having nexus with notorious mafia Jayesh Patel who is accused in advocate Kirit Joshi murder case and over 40 other cases of serious crimes. Patel alias Ranpariya currently operates in Jamnagar and continues to execute crimes through his gang members, network, money and allegedly his political nexuses. A leading daily had named Hakubha as a politician from Jamnagar having nexus with Jayesh Patel alias Jaysukh Ranpariya who is Interpol listed red-corner tagged wanted criminal.
Other allegations and Hakubha’s reaction
According to a news report in a leading vernacular daily, Hakubha enjoys close links with mafia MLA Kandhal Jadeja and Ribda based Aniruddhsinh. His family business is growing in the district’s major businesses such as sand mining, transport contracts, wind mills, solar projects, and Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation.
A news report claims that party high command is receiving details of linkages with Hakubha’s family to legal-allegedly illegal business activities. It further claims that Raviraj Infraproject Pvt Ltd, Raviraj Infra Developers, Raviraj Infra Solutions have total over Rs. 100 crore turnover. All contracts for setting up wind mills in Jamnagar and Dwarka districts are also with Jadeja family’s company.
Report quoting the party’s senior leader stated that Jamnagar was earlier considered a peaceful district, but now the situation has changed. Both districts witness frequent incidents of extortion, land grabbing, theft of coal in Bedi port and theft of sand. All such activities are inspired by district leaders only. Their such activities have tarnished the image of the party.
Both districts have presence of some leading companies. Jadeja’s family or aides forcibly snatch contracts in these companies including Reliance, Nyra Energy Refineries, Ghadi Detergent, Cairn India, Tata Chemicals, Sikka Thermal Plants among others.
Hakubha’s brother Rajbha Jadeja handles unloading of coal from ships, loading in trucks and its transportation etc works at Bedi Port where coal is imported for Tata Chemicals and Sikka Thermal Power Plant.
Reliance and Nyra Energy produce Petcock which can be used as fuel. This item is not only exported but also used in the domestic market. Transport and supply contracts for this item is with Rajbha Jadeja and his aides.
The report quotes a local government official and states that a powerful gang frequently steals sand and coal but government administration is not allowed to even probe such matters. Rajbha Jadeja allegedly has control of all sand mining leases. Builders in Jamnagar and surrounding areas are pressurised to purchase bricks and sand for construction of buildings from Rajbha Associates only. Contracts for setting up 66 kw and 132 kw substations from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd are also awarded to Jadeja for which he uses his political position. The report further claims that Hakubha and former State BJP chief Jitu Vaghani have joined hands for business. Jayesh Patel who wants to become next Abdul Latif of Gujarat is also linked to Hakubha, the report claims.
Rejecting the allegations, Hakubha told media persons that he and his wife were directors of Raviraj infraproject pvt ltd but after becoming minister he resigned from the post of director in this company. He said his company serves Powerika Wind company for civil works since 2015. He said neither he, nor his family have worked for govt owned GETCO company’s projects. He refuted allegations of fearing Reliance – Essar etc companies to get contracts. He also refuted illegal sand mining related allegations. He said his brother is into building material supply trading business in Jamnagar district but no builder is threatened for supply. He also denied any works done for Ghadi, Cairn, Tata Chemicals.

Meanwhile Rajya Sabha member Parimal Nathwani who hails from Jamnagar today posted an indicative tweet, and said: People of Jamnagar and Halar region are very wise and they know who is doing what and where! All facts will be crystal clear and the truth will reveal itself.
Nathwani had couple of days ago posted three tweets that had alerted State government and party leadership about serious situation of crime in Jamnagar. Welcoming a new district police chief Deepan Bhadran, Nathwani had tweeted: Welcome Deepan Bhadran to Jamnagar as SP. Your posting here will give a great relief to the law abiding citizens, land owners, builders, businessmen, traders & factory owners of the area. Wishing you a prospective tenure. I am sure the dynamic & bold SP Bhadran Deepan with special mission will curb & control criminals & their political masters with firm hands. Your presence in Jamnagar will give relief to law-abiding citizens. While new Jamnagar SP Bhadran Deepan will use his brilliance & firm hands on criminals, some people suspect, I don’t know true or false, that Range IG Sandip Singh in past settled some cases in favour of criminals in tune with some politicians!
Nathwani’s mention that criminals have their political masters in Jamnagar and Range IG Sandip Singh settled cases in favour of criminals, has attracted serious attention of Gandhinagar as Nathwani enjoys an impression of being a person who has his heart in Jamnagar and who would always think for good of people of native district. How he had ensured dedicated water supply to whole Khambhaliya town (now in Devbhumi Dwarka district) during famine is still remembered by locals.

In another development, an audio clip has come to light, in which notorious criminal Jayesh Patel alias Jaysukh Ranpariya attempts to use caste card. Local BJP MP Poonamben Madam had participated in a tree plantation programme recently. Someone had posted a comment on related Facebook post with double-meaning through mention of mattresses used in the programme. One who commented faced heat from Poonam Madam’s supporters. Reacting to this Jaysukh Ranpariya dialled a phone call to Poonam Madam’s supporter Irfan and warned him not to do anything against a person who had commented in bad taste. Jayesh as per an audio clip can be heard asking Irfan, whether a person is facing heat for his comment and being targeted because he is from Patel community?

It’s worth noting that couple of years ago when Jayesh’s brother Dharmendra alias Dhamo was shot at by unidentified persons, a small group of local Patidar community had visited then SP Sejul and presented a memorandum for arrest of culprits. Sejul had in his reactions asked the group to first ensure that Jayesh surrenders before police. The group had faced heat of SP. BJP councillor Atul Bhanderi who was one of accused of working on behalf of Jayesh alias Jaysukh in Parshottam Rajani firing case was also part of Patidar quota agitation in the past. Bhanderi was elected as Congress Councillor but later joined BJP. He is believed close to senior cabinet minister RC Faldu.
