Ahmed Patel taken to ICU in private hospital; Narhari Amin and wife hospitalized as covid positive

Gandhinagar: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat, Ahmed Patel has been shifted to Delhi NCR’s Medanta hospital and kept on ventilator support as per the Gujarat Congress leaders who inquired about his condition.
Ahmed Patel was infected with coronavirus recently. He had developed several complications. His condition is stable.
Ahmed Patel’s son Faisal tweeted: On behalf of his family, we would like to share that Shri Ahmed Patel had tested positive for Covid19 a few weeks ago. He has now been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon for further treatment. His condition is stable and he continues to be under medical observation. We request you to pray for his speedy recovery.
On October 1, Ahmed Patel had tweeted that he was tested positive for Covid and had gone to self-isolation.

In other development, Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat and BJP leader Narhari Amin and his wife are infected with coronavirus. Both are admitted to Ahmedabad based UN Mehta hospital.
