Ashok Chaudhary led panel wins Dudhsagar Dairy election in clean sweep

Mahesana: Ashok Chaudhary led panel has won Mahesana based Dudhsagar dairy’s election, bulldozing the rival Vipul Chduadhary led panel that could hardly win only two out of fifteen seats. Ashok Chaudhary has been ex General Secretary of BJP for Mehsana District, Director of Gujarat Housing Board, ex President of Mahesana Municipality and
Director of DudhSagar Dairy. Rival Vipul Chaudhary couldn’t save his own seat. Vipul is in jail, as the courts have denied him bail in Bonus scam.
– Ashok Chaudhary led Parivartan panel won 13 of 15 seats, while Vipul Chaudhary led Vikas panel won 2 seats.
– There were total 41 candidates in fray. Out of 1129, as many as 1119 voters cast votes which comes to 99.11 percentage turnout.
– Dudhsagar Dairy has anual turnover of Rs. 5800 crore. As many as 6.50 lakh cattle rearers are linked to this dairy through 1129 cooperative groups.
-Ashokbhai won from Mahesana while his panel members won from Chanasma, Kadi, Patan, Kalol, Sami, Siddhpur, Mansa, Visnagar, Kheralu, Visnagar and Mansa.
-Ashok Chaudhary’s panel candidates could not win two seats of Vijapur.
-Candidates of rival panels received same number of votes on Kalol seat. However in lottery, Ashok Chaudhary panel candidate declared victorious.
