Keshubhai Patel conferred with Padma Bhushan, Naresh Mahesh Kanodia Padmashri posthumous

Gandhinagar: Late Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel has been conferred Padma Bhushan (Posthumous). Folk artist Dadudan Gadhavi, late actor/singer/music composer/former MP/MLA Mahesh and Naresh Kanodia (Posthumous), author Chandrakant Mehta have been conferred with Padmashri. Among other Gujaratis who are in the list of awardees from neighbouring state Maharashtra are founder of Gujarat based United Phosphorus Limited, Rajnikant Devidas Shroff (Padma Bhushan) and Lijjat Papad fame Jaswantiben Jamnadas Popat (Padmashri). Father Valles, who contributed to Gujarati literature in the last century has been conferred with Posthumous Padma Shri award.
