No more Remdesivir supply for home care patients: AMC tells AHNA
April 20, 2021
Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will no more supply Remdesivir for home-care patients of Covid19. AMC officials in a video conferencing conveyed this decision to Ahmedabad Hospitals and Nursing Home Association (AHNA) office bearers today.
AMC had earlier taken a decision to provide Remdesivir injections to needy patients taking home care through AHNA and also allotted 450 injections in first installment. However, later AMC discontinued supply. AMC finally today clarified verbally that no more supply will be possible for home-care covid patients.
AHNA office bearer said the decision could be due to Niti Aayog decision against giving Remdesivir in home care. DeshGujarat
