Gandhinagar: Dhanraj Nathwani, Group President of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) today informed Gujarat Congress chief Amit Chavda through a tweet that the Reliance Jamnagar is supplying 400 tons of oxygen on daily basis to Gujarat. Nathwani further said this shows Reliance’s commitment for Gujarat.

Chavda had a day before posted a letter to Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Shri Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani requested that oxygen produced at Jamnagar should provide oxygen for the people of Gujarat too, like it is being provided to neighboring state Maharashtra. Chavda had posted a copy of this letter on Twitter.

Dhanraj Nathwani today quoted Chavda’s same tweet and replied that 400 tons of oxygen is being supplied to Gujarat by the Reliance Jamnagar, on daily basis. Nathwani in his tweet addressing to Chavda said, your letter shows lack of awareness being a political leader of State.

To this Chavda replied, ‘indeed, it’s commendable what RIL is doing…but as you may be aware despite that, daily there is news from across the state of people are suffering due to lack of Oxygen. All my letter is requesting is that RIL does more for Gujarat as it shares a special relating with Gujarat.’

It’s worth noting that during the ongoing crisis of Covid19 pandemic, Reliance Jamnagar has not just supplied gas to Gujarat but also to neighboring Maharashra and Madhya Pradesh. This is not the first time, that Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani led Reliance has stood behind the people during crisis. Reliance has always been with the people when required during all crisis ever since the era of late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani.

Couple of days ago, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had in reply to question asked by a Gujarati news channel’s editor said that he was in constant contact with Pankajbhai (Zydus Cadila Healthcare), Parimalbhai (Reliance) and others over Covid19 crisis. Rupani had also acknowledged that Zydus was helping the state in supply of Remedesivir injections while Reliance was extending help for supply of oxygen.

Chavda meanwhile was trolled by tweeples over his letter and Nathwani’s reply. A tweeple Ravindrasinh replied Chavda, ‘Congress men you day and night verbally abuse Reliance people and how come sudden realization happened in your mind?’

Another tweeple Nishit Joshi in Gujarati language replied, ‘tell your master that same Mukeshbhai whom he verbally abuses round the clock is today extending help. If any shame is left ……’

A tweeple, Tapan Vaja replied, ‘Dear Amit bhai, hope from next time u will be well informed before writing such irrelevant letter.’.

A tweeple Raj Patel said, ‘Letter didn’t even acknowledge what RIL is doing for Gujarat , now you are completely exposed and your master as always talk against RIL so first give some lesson to him what is RIL and what they are doing ?I am asking what is INC Gujarat doing for Gujarat? Did you help one people.’

A tweeple Nilesh Dave(Desai) opined, ‘Reliance is not only manufacturer for Oxygen they are many, you chose Reliance because of quick publicity, playing politics over oxygen won’t get you votes!!!’
