Class – 12 exams will be definitely conducted, two alternatives presented by Centre: Chudasama

Gandhinagar: Education minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama today reiterated that the State government is definitely going to conduct the board exams of class 12. He said the the time and method of exam will be decided after discussion with Chief Minister.
Chudasama said the Central government had today held a meeting in presence of four union ministers, Shri Rajnathi Singh, Ramesh Pokhrial, Prakash Javdekar and Smriti Irani.
The central government had in its presented shared two options.
1. To conduct the exams as per conventional method (which is more time taking)
2. 1.5 hour long paper instead of 3 hours with objective questions.
Chudasama said the union education minister made it clear in his opening remarks that exams will be conducted for sure. The meeting went no for three hours and it was participated by education ministers from all states.
Chudasama said he on behalf of Gujarat spoke in this meeting and stressed on point that the government should plan the exams taking care of students’ health and future both. DeshGujarat
