Class 12 exams of Gujarat Board from 1st July as per conventional method: Chudasama

Gandhinagar: A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has taken a decision that class-12 Gujarat board exams will be conducted as per conventional method, starting from Thursday, 1st of July, 2021 across the State.
Total 1,40,000 students will appear in these exams in Science stream, while 5,83,000 students will appear in general stream. Thus total 6,83,000 students will appear in these exams.
Science part – 1 will have 50 marks MCQ while part – 2 will be a three hours exam. Similarly in general stream, 100 marks written exam will be conducted for three-hour session.
All Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) will be followed as per the strict order given by the Chief Minister. Each exam hall will have presence of 20 students. The students will get examination centre at the nearest taluka place, the Chief Minister has instructed. If for any reason related to Coronavirus, a student is unable to appear in exam, he will be given chance after 25 days through new question papers.
Exams for class-10 repeater students will also be conducted same way in two parts.
These details were today shared by State Education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in a press conference.
