Airtel announces deployment of 10 Mhz spectrum in 2300 band in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”) today said that it has upgraded its mobile network in Gujarat to deliver the best network experience for its customers.
Navneet Sharma, CEO-Gujarat, Bharti Airtel said, the company has “deployed an additional 10 Mhz spectrum in the 2300 Mhz band along with advance network software tools across its network in the state to significantly bolster high speed data capacity. Airtel had acquired the 10 Mhz spectrum for Gujarat during the recent auctions conducted by the Government of India. With this fresh spectrum, Airtel has 70.4 Mhz of diverse spectrum holdings across 2300/1800/900 bands to serve the growing demand for high speed data services and its network is fully ready for 5G services.”
He added that Airtel has also deployed advanced network technologies and tools such as pre-5G Massive MIMO, 4G Advanced and Carrier Aggregation to step up high speed network capacity and coverage. DeshGujarat
