Gandhinagar: Several political murmurs in a day in Gujarat. Former cabinet minister Jaynarayan Vyas who has not been able to win from his constituency Sidhpur in North Gujarat has today in a tweet said the party (ruling Bharatiya Janata Party to which Vyas belongs) has changed !! Vyas said he received a call from Gujarat BJP headquarters Kamalam asking him to attend a meeting. In past if you were slight unwell, senior ost party bosses would ask about your health and drop in. Today he is in a hospital with by pass surgery and the entire world knows except the Kamalam kid!

Former Government officer turned Health and Tourism minister in then Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet Vyas is sulking for last many years, especially since Chief Minister Vijay Rupani denied him a meeting. Vyas who is hospitalized at present has been working as a TV debate anchor for last over a year in Gujarat Samachar TV. He has openly criticized both the State and Central government through social media and during his opening remarks in his TV debate show.

Vyas had yesterday tweeted a cryptic remark and said: Thanks Vijaybhai (Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani?) for your bold approach approach pouring cold water on many ambitions. best wishes and may God Bless You.

Vyas’s tweet was perhaps reacting to Chief Minister Rupani’s reply to media yesterday in which he termed reports of expansion of cabinet and new appointments on board/corporations as baseless.

It’s worth noting that in February 2012 when Vyas was hospitalized in UN Mehta hospital as Health and Tourism minister, then Chief Minister Narendra Modi had visited him. Vyas had complained uneasiness during then CM Narendra Modi’s Sadbhavna fast programme in Anand following which he was taken to a hospital in Anand first and later in Ahmedabad.

Vyas is 73 years old.
