Vadodara: An idol of Bhagwan Hanuman of 31 feet height will be installed at Mahadev lake of Waghodia with efforts by Hanuman bhakt local BJP MLA Madhu Srivastav.

This idol is created using 10 tons of stainless steel. Artist Ketan Amin residing in Ajwa-road area of Vadodara has created this idol with the help of 18 other artists within a span of 2 years by working on an average 16 hours daily.

Amin has studied Masters in sculpture from The MS University of Baroda and holds 20 years’ experience in sculpting. He has also held many exhibitions of his works in various states across the country. The sculpture of tiger installed near Ratri-bazar, the sculpture of mace in Gada-circle in Harni area and the sculpture of a couple playing Garba installed in Jubely baug area of the city are also created by him.
