Ahmedabad: The city witnessed thunderstorm today on the eve of 144th Rath Yatra. Three chariots (Raths) of Bhagwan Jagannath, Balram and Subhadra parked in Jagannath Mandir campus had rain bath amid roaring sky full of lightening. Rath Yatra procession will take place tomorrow morning amid curfew imposed across 11 police station areas with limited vehicles due to Covid-19 pandemic situation. Weather department has issued forecast of state wide heavy rain tomorrow. Rain on Rath Yatra day and over Raths is considered auspicious. DeshGujarat
