Gandhinagar: ATree Entertainment has released an official teaser of its upcoming historical Gujarati drama film ‘Nayika Devi The Warrior Queen’.

According to makers, it is a historical drama set in the 12th century featuring India’s first female warrior, Queen of Gujarat, who not only ruled Patan, the then capital of Gurjar Desh for years but also overthrew the vicious Mohmmad Ghori on the battlefield in 1178.

The film is Directed by Nitin G, director of films like What about Savarkar (Marathi) and Ashwamedham (Telugu). Produced by Umesh Sharma under the banner Atree Entertainment, it is the first periodic film in the history of Gujarati Cinema and has a multi-star ensemble. Renowned actors like Khushi Shah, Manoj Joshi, Rahul Dev, Jayesh More, Chirag Jani, Binda Rawal, Kaushambi Bhatt, Mamta Soni, Chetan Dahiya, Harry Rathod and Akash Zala will be seen in pivotal roles.

It is learnt that the movie will release in Summer 2022. Shooting will soon start at two palaces in Rajasthan at Bundi and Bharatpur.
