Gandhinagar: The State Election Commission of Gujarat today informed that general election of Municipal Corporation in Gandhinagar and Municipalities of Okha and Thara will be held after the season of monsoon.

Mid-term election of Bhanvad municipality and vacant seats of various municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayats and taluka panchayats will also be held after monsoon.

The Commission has said that due to rains and healthcare related issues prevailing in monsoon, the elections will be held after the end of the monsoon season. DeshGujarat
