Start of Govardhan Ahir Kanya VIdhya Sankul at Anjar

Bhuj: Gujarat Chief Minister will dedicate Govardhan Ahir Kanya Vidhya Sankul on Thursday- 5th August 2021.
The complex has been built at a cost of Rs 25 crores with collaboration of donors of the community near Govardhan Temple at Satapar in Anjar by ‘Kutch Patan Prathaliya Ahir community’ with aim of providing education to the girls of Ahir community.
The initiative will offer admission to the girls of the community in class 9th to 12th as per Covid-19 guidelines. President of Kutch Ahir Society and youth leader of Ahir community Trikambhai Ahir informed that the land is donated by former president of Satapar taluka Vasanbhai Vishabhai Mata with inspiration of Mahant Pujya Trikamdasji Maharaj of Sachchidananda mandir sampradaya and land at other side was bought by the community. The foundation stone laying of this campus spread across more than 23 acres was done on 18th March 2018.
The construction of more than 3 lakh square feet was done in a span of 2 years. It has a modern auditorium with capacity of 5000 people built at cost of Rs 3 crores, 54 classrooms in which 2500 students can be included, laboratory, library, staffroom, hostel of 125 rooms, dining room of 800 student capacity, garden and playground. The cement concrete roads are built in this campus. Many leaders, donors and trusties from the Ahir Community will remain present in the dedication ceremony. DeshGujarat
