Night Curfew to Start at 12 midnight instead of 11 pm; Sheri Garba allowed

Gandhinagar: Covid-19 pandemic linked night curfew which starts at present in 8 cities of Gujarat from 11 pm will start from 12 midnight with effect from 25 September to 10 October. The end time of night curfew will continue to be 6 am.
This decision was taken today by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel after a meeting with Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi.
The government has decided to permit gathering of maximum 400 persons only for Sheri Garba, the Society and Flat based Garba events, Durga Puja, Vijaya Dashami utsav and Sharad Purnima festival.
Commercial Navratri events at party plots, club, open space etc places are not permitted this year.
Previous upper limit of 150 persons in wedding functions has been increased to 400 persons.
Celing of 40 persons at funeral and last rites has been increased to 100 persons.
Restaurants are allowed to remain open by 10 pm with 75 per cent capacity instead of 60 per cent as provisioned earlier.
Parks and Gardens are allowed to remain open till 10 pm instead of 9 pm earlier.
