RMC launches Complaint Redressal Service with a Toll Free Number

Rajkot: Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has launched a PIN based complaint redressal service and a toll-free number. The toll-free number for the complaint redressal service is 1800-123-1973 which also has the facility of feedback and ratings.
Standing Committee Chairman Pushkar Patel informed that the complaints of overflowing underground gutters will be redressed within 36 hours. Similarly, the time-limit for redressal of complaints of choking and overflowing main lines is decided 48 hours and for complaints of removing the drainage garbage will be redressed within 24 hours, he informed.
Moreover, complaints related to the food department, runnel cleaning, and unavailability of tipper vans will be resolved within 24 hours. The durations set for redressing other complaints are 48 hours for cleaning of open plots, 72 hours for inoperative street lights and 168 hours for the polluted water.
