PM Modi to e-dedicate PSA Oxygen generating plant at Sola Civil hospital in Gujarat and 34 other districts

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually dedicate a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen generating plant at Sola Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad on Thursday- 7th October. It will be the one out of the 35 PSA oxygen plants to be dedicated by PM Modi at one-go on Thursday under PM CARES fund across 35 states and union territories.

The dedication ceremony at Sola civil hospital will be held in the presence of Minister of state for women and child development Manishaben Vakil at Sola Civil Hospital. It will be organised by the Health and Family Welfare Department of the state government.

All districts of the country will now have commissioned PSA oxygen plants, with the inception of these 35 PSA oxygen plants, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). A total of 1,224 PSA oxygen plants have been funded under PM CARES all across the country till now, out of which more than 1,100 plants have been commissioned, providing an output of over 1,750 MT oxygen per day. PMO informed that operations and maintenance of these plants have been ensured by training more than 7,000 personnel.
