74 persons to leave worldly life and embrace monkhood in Surat on November 29

Surat: A total 74 persons will embrace monkhood on 29th November in a Jain diksha ceremony to take place in Adhyatma Nagari built at Balar House in Vesu, Surat during 25th to 29th November.
The 74 persons will take diksha on 29th November. The Adhyatma Nagari has been built in 4 lakh square feet area in Balar house in which a diksha mandap will be set-up in 1.10 lakh square feet area.
The preparations are going on since about one and a half months for which 55 committees are formed and around 500 karyakartas of Adhyatma Parivar are working. The function is organised by Shri Shantikanak Shramanopasak Trust Adhyatma Parivar.
The accommodations for those arriving from within India or foreign countries to attend the ceremony are organised by the hosts. Bal sanskaran for the children in the city is also planned. The kits will be distributed to 10 thousand houses of needy families. DeshGujarat
