Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 44 fresh cases of covid-19 infection against recovery of 36 covid patients and nil death in 24 hours period ending at 5 pm today. The State has 326 active covid cases.

Among fresh cases reported in 24 hours in cities, Ahmedabad reported 12 cases while Bhavnagar reported 11 cases. Surat and Vadodara each reported 5 fresh cases while Rajkot reported 1 fresh case.

Among districts, Dahod reported 3 fresh cases, while Navsari, Rajkot and Valsad reported 2 fresh cases each. Kutch reported 1 fresh case.

Over 4 lakh doses of covid vaccines were administered during the day, taking the total count statewide so far to nearly 8.27 crore.
