No complaint, no evidence received over paper leak: GSSSB Chairman Asit Vora

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB) Chairman Asit Vora said that the board hasn’t received any complaint about the leakage of exam papers of the head clerk exam held on 12th December in the state so far.
GSSSB conducted the exam for recruitment of 186 posts of head-clerk on 12th December. Total 2,41,400 candidates had applied out of which 88000 candidates had appeared for the exam. The exam was taken with full transparency at 782 centers in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, as stated by GSSSB chairman Asit Vora. The checking is started by the 15 to 16 teams of the police. If any supporting evidence will be found during the investigation, then strict actions will be taken against the responsible persons and they won’t be forgiven.
He said that a meeting was held in the leadership of state home minister Harsh Sanghavi about the matter of paper leak. State home minister Harsh Sanghavi has instructed the police department to sincerely conduct the investigation with transparency. The legal actions including FIR will be taken by the board after receiving information from the police department. Till then the provisional answer keys will not be declared.
