11 booked, 7 arrested in GSSSB Head Clerk exam paper leak case

Gandhinagar: The police have booked 11 persons for fraud and breach of trust, out of which 7 are nabbed and 4 are absconding, in the paper leak case of the head clerk exams taken by Gujarat Secondary Services Selection Board (GSSSB).
The police has nabbed Dhruv Bharatbhai Barot (age: 24, lives in Berna, Himmatnagar), Mahesh Kamleshbhai Patel (age: 32, lives in New Ranip Ahmedabad), Chintan Pravinbhai Patel (age: 29, lives in Vadrad, Prantij), Kuldip Nalinbhai Patel (age: 28, lives in Kaniyol, Himmatnagar), Darshan Kiritkumar Vyas (age: 45, lives in Mahavirnagar, Himmatnagar), Suresh Ramanbhai Patel (lives in Tajpuri kundol, Himmatnagar) and Jashvant Hargovan Patel (lives in Unchha). The remaining four absconding accused are Jayesh Ishwarbhai Patel (Unchha, Prantij), Mahendra S Patel (lives in Poglu, Prantij), Deval Jashvantbhai Patel (lives in Unchha, Prantij), Satish alias Happy Patel (lives in Patnakuva, Talod).
The absconding accused named Jayesh Ishwarbhai Patel is believed to be the mastermind of the paper leak scam. The case was handed over to the Local crime branch. The question paper of B series of the part 1 of this exam was leaked with the help of any government employee and it was sold for Rs 10 to 15 lakh to the candidates. DeshGujarat
