Complaint filed against NSUI leader for taking Rs. 90,000 for college admission and giving death threat

Ahmedabad: A student has filed a complaint against Narayan Bharwad of Congress party’s students’ wing National Students Union of India (NSUI) at Gujarat University Police Station for alleged fraud of Rs 90,000 by enticing him to give an admission at GLS IC college.

The complainant Siddharth Jitendrabhai Thakor (age 19) alleged that the accused Narayan Bharvad had demanded Rs 90,000 from him for getting him an admission in GLS IC college.

Accused Narayan Bharwad according to a complaint, had allegedly said that he is in a powerful position in NSUI and has contacts in college.

The complainant stated that he had initially paid Rs 65,000 and later paid the remaining amount through Google Pay and PhonePe via his friend and a brother. The complainant did not get the admission despite paying the money. When he asked accused to return his money through his friend, the accused Narayan Bharwad as per the complaint draft said that he will return Rs 20,000 on 21st December. The accused then met complainant boy at Gujarat University on 21st December and threatened to kill him if he demands to return the money again, as per the complaint filed.
