Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated the Health Services Management Center (HSMC) of Gujarat government and also launched Gujarat Epidemic Response Management Information System portal.

The HSMC will enable the monitoring of the benefits provided to the beneficiaries under the schemes of health services related to children and pregnant women such as Pradhan Mantri Matruvandana scheme and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya program.

The counseling under the Early Childhood Development for the health services of mothers and children will be done by calling the pregnant females once every month till child birth and by calling once every 3 months till the child becomes 2 years old.

The monitoring and review of the free diagnosis provided to the patients of blood pressure, diabetes, cancer under non-infectious diseases diagnosis and treatment camp will be also done through HSMC.

The Gujarat Epidemic Response Management Information System portal will enable regular monitoring of available ventilators in government and private hospitals, availability of oxygen beds and other regular beds in the state.
