Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi today in his facebook post recalled late foreign minister of India and BJP leader Smt Sushma Swaraj and an incident linking her and Narendrabhai’s mother Hiraba in Gujarat way back before years, probably in 1980s or 1990s.

Narendrabhai in his Facebook post in Hindi said,’ just now I am returning from Jalandhar after completing a rally. Today is birth anniversary of Sushmaji. I recall a very old incident suddenly and thought I should share it. It could be around twenty five years old incident, when I was working in BJP organization and Sushmaji was on a campaign visit in Gujarat. She went to my native village Vadnagar and met my mother also. At that time, we had a new born girl child in my niece’s family. Astrologers decided her name as per Nakshatra. Those at home also decided that they will do whatever as per the opinion of astrologers. But after meeting Sushmaji, my mother said that the girl’s name will be Sushma only. My mother is not very much educated but she is very modern by her thinking. And the way she announced her decision, I remember it even today.
