Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has approved five Town Planning (TP) schemes in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar in a day. Out of approved schemes one is preliminary while four are draft schemes. With this 24.31 hectares land will be available to socially and economically weak section people. The government has also approved TP-scheme – 1 Bodakdev preliminary scheme. The approved four draft schemes are Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) draft TP 307 Santej-Rakanpur, Gandhinagar draft TP scheme 28 Sargasan-Por-Kudasan, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) draft TP scheme 21 Ruva-Vadva and Jamnagar Municipal Corporation(JMC)’s TP scheme 11 Jamnagar.
