Himmatnagar: It’s Himmatnagarfiles in Gujarat. Minority Hindus from Vanzarawas area are leaving their homes. These are poor Schedule Caste people. There are 70 to 80 houses in Vanzarawas and around 200 people live here. After two-hour long stone pelting by Muslims from neighboring Chandnagar area they are vacating their homes and shifting elsewhere. A local says, entire Chandnagar area gathered to attack Vanzarawas with stones. Even petrol bombs were hurled, a local says adding that they had steel roof over their house, but suppose if there was cement roof, then they could be dead. The locals said, they are lesser in number compared to thousands of Muslims from Chandnagar who are in attack mode. A local said, police take Hindu persons and put them in lockup instead of protecting them. A woman complained that fans and gas cylinders were taken away from her house and shop. Last night’s heavy stone pelting over Hindu locality took place after violent attacks twice on Ram Navami procession in Muslims populated Chhapariya area here couple of days ago. Several police men were injured and vehicles were burnt during the attack on Ram Navami procession in Himmatnagar couple of days ago.
