Gujarat govt has ordered sea plane for Sabarmati-Statue of Unity ferry service: Minister

Statue of Unity: Minister for Roadways and Construction, Purnesh Modi announced that the state government has placed the order for a sea plane for the ferry service that will be operated between Sabarmati and the Statue of Unity and the service will be launched very soon.
Modi was speaking during the function to inaugurate a newly constructed bus stop at Ektanagar, Statue of Unity, which was also attended by MP Mansukh Vasava. Congress MLA PD Vasava also graced the ceremony held to dedicate the bus stop constructed at a cost of Rs 3.88 crores, to the people.
Fielding a question related to construction of an airport in Narmada district, Modi informed that the state government’s priority is to build an air cargo facility at Ankleshwar for which a ground breaking ceremony for the Rs 100 crore runway project will be held very soon.
However, he informed that the process of identifying spots for airports in Rajpipla and Narmada districts is underway and maps of the two districts are being perused closely for the purpose. DeshGujarat
